Dingle Dangle Scarecrow

When all the cows were sleeping and the sun had gone to bed  
(crouch down low)

Up jumped the scarecrow and this is what he said
 (jump up)

I’m a dingle dangle scarecrow with a flippy floppy hat  
(put hands on head)

I can shake my hands like this, I can shake my feet like that  
(shake hands, then feet)

When all the hens were roosting and the moon behind a cloud
Up jumped the scarecrow and shouted right out loud…

When all the pigs were snoring and the stars were shining bright
Up jumped the scarecrow and shouted with delight…

I'm a Scary Scarecrow

I'm a scary scarecrow, made of straw
(stand, arms out)

Listening for the crows to caw.
 (cup hands around ears)

I watch the field all day, and all night, too.
(watch, with hands shading eyes)

And when I see a crow, I just say BOO!
(Jump and shout Boo!)

Scarecrow

The scarecrow stands
(stand up)

with hanging hands
(outstretched arms)

Beside the farmer's stile

He scares away the jay and the crow
(step forward)

With just a painted smile
(stretch out arms and grin)
