One Little, Two Little, Three Little Alligators

One little, two little, three little alligators,
Four little, five little, six little alligators,
Seven little, eight little, nine little alligators,
Ten little alligators hatch from eggs.
Ten little, nine little, eight little alligators,
Seven little, six little, five little alligators,
Four little, three little, two little alligators,
One little alligator swims away.

Little Baby Gator

Little baby gator swimming through the swamp
(hands together, swim gator-like)

Eating lots of fish with a CHOMP, CHOMP, CHOMP!
(chomp hands open and closed)

Along came a hunter with a great big net,
(pretend to raise net)

Gator went SPLASH!
(mist children with water bottle)(splash loudly)

And the hunter got wet!
(shake hands and self)

Going on a Gator Hunt

We’re going on a gator hunt!
We’re gonna find a big one.
I’m not afraid.
Are you?
Not me!

Verse 1
Look, there’s a beach!
A big sandy beach!
Can’t go under it.
Can’t go around it.
Gotta go over it!
*Hot, hot*

(repeat refrain)

Verse 2
Look, there’s a forest!
A swampy cypress forest!
Can’t go over it.
Can’t go under it.
Gotta go through it!
*paddle, paddle*

(repeat refrain)

Verse 3
Look, there’s grass!
Pointy spikey grass!
Can’t go over it.
Can’t go under it.
Gotta go through it!
*ouch, ouch*

(repeat refrain)

Verse 4
Look, there’s a swamp!
Can’t go over it.
Can’t go under it.
Gotta go through it!
Ew! *Slosh, Slosh*

Look, there’s a hole!
Maybe there’s a gator in there.
I’ll go see.
Follow me.
AHHHH! It’s a gator!
Quick, back through the swamp! (slosh, slosh)
Run through the grass! (ouch, ouch)
Paddle through the forest! (paddle, paddle)
Tip toe on the beach! (hot, hot)
We made it!

Alligator Pie

Alligator, alligator
(open and close hands like an alligator's mouth)

Alligator pie.

If I don't get some,

I think I'm gonna cry.
(pretend to cry)

You can take away the grass,
(wiggle fingers like grass blowing)

Take away the sky,
(hands over head)

But don't take away
(do alligator's mouth again)

My Alligator pie.

Five Monkeys

Five Monkeys

Five little monkeys swinging on a tree
(fingers extended swing your hand back and forth)

Teasing Mr. Alligator, "can't catch me, can't catch me
(shaking your head, wag your finger like you're saying "no, no")

Along came Mr. Alligator quiet as can be and
(say this in a whisper, making a SSSHHH motion)

SNAP!
(clap hands together like the mouth of an alligator)

Four little monkeys swinging on a tree...
Three little monkeys swinging on a tree...
Two little monkeys swinging on a tree...
One little monkey swinging on a tree...
