Green Beans

Look in the garden,

You'll see my sign,

Then bring out your basket,

When it's pickin' time!

This Little Cow

This little cow eats grass, (wiggle thumb)
This little cow eats hay. (wiggle index finger)
This little cow drinks water ,(wiggle middle finger)
This little cow runs away. (wiggle ring finger)
And this little cow does nothing at all (wiggle little finger) but lie in the field all day.

Animals on the Farm

To the Tune of:  Wheels on the Bus

The cow in barn goes moo, moo, moo,
Moo, moo, moo. Moo, moo, moo,
repeat
All around the farm.
The pig in the pen goes oink, oink, oink,...........
The hens in the coop go cluck..........
The lambs on the hill go baa,........
The ducks on the pond go quack......

Farmer Plants the Seeds

Tune: Farmer in the Dell

Farmer Plants the Seeds, Farmer Plants the Seeds, Farmer Plants the Seeds

Hi-ho the derry-o, Farmer Plants the Seeds!

The rain begins to fall, The rain begins to fall, The rain begins to fall,
(wiggle fingers downward)

Hi-ho the derry-o, The rain begins to fall!

The sun begins to shine
(arms above head for sun)

The seeds begin to grow
(arms and hands move up)

The flowers bloom everywhere
(hands together, fingers spread apart for flowers)

Farmer sows the Seeds

Tune: Farmer in the Dell

The farmer sows his seeds....
Heigh ho! The Derry O!
The farmer sows his seeds
(make throwing motion or planting motions)

The wind begins to blow....
(wave arms like a windy day)

The Rain begins to fall...
(fingers hang down and drip rain)

The Sun begins to shine...
 (arms in circle above head)

The Seeds begin to grow...
(fingers pop up like green shoots)

The Farmer cuts his grain...
(action like a scythe with falling grain)

The Farmer binds his sheaves...
(compress hands together, like you are binding stalks)

The Harvest it is in...
(clap hands in celebration)

If I were a Chicken

If I were a chicken,
a chicken, a chicken
If I were a chicken, I'd walk like this...

Additional Verses:
flap my wings like this
peck some grain like this
drink my water like this

End with "I'd lay an egg like this."

Over in the Barnyard

Over in the barnyard,
Early in the morning,

See the little baby chicks,
All in a row,
(hold up five fingers of one hand and wiggle them)

See the busy farmer,
Scattering their breakfast,
(scatter chicken feed with other hand)

Peck, peck,
(hold your four fingers together and place your thumb below to form a beak and make pecking motions)

Cheep, cheep
(open and close your beak)

Off they go!

All Around the Barnyard

 (Rest cheek on folded hands)

All around the barnyard
The animals are fast asleep.
Sleeping cows and horses,
Sleeping pigs and sheep.

Here comes the cocky rooster
To sound his daily alarm.
"Cock-a-doodle-doo!
Wake up sleepy farm!"
(Flap arms at sides and crow.)
