Ten little Ponies
Ten Little Ponies in a meadow green,
(Hold up ten fingers)
Ten little ponies, friskiest ever seen,
They go for a gallop,
(gallop hands)
They go for a trot
(trot hands)
They come for a halt in the big feed lot
(keep hands still)
Ten little ponies fat and well fed
Curl up together in a soft, straw bed.
(close up fingers in hand)

Horsey, Horsey
Horsey, horsey on your way
We’ve been together for many a day
So let your tail go swish and your wheels go ‘round
Giddy up, we’re homeward bound.
I like to ride a horse and buggy
I like to ride all over town
I like to hear old Dobbin’s clip clop
I like to feel those wheels go ‘round.

Horses in the pasture
Horses in the pasture
(point ot side)
Horses in the hay
(point to other side)
Horses like to run and jump,
(run and jump in place)
Each and every day.

Galloping Ponies
(Gallop around as indicated)
Galloping, galloping, galloping,
How fast my pony can go,
When he's tired we'll come home,
Slow, slow, slow.

All Around the Barnyard
(Rest cheek on folded hands)
All around the barnyard
The animals are fast asleep.
Sleeping cows and horses,
Sleeping pigs and sheep.
Here comes the cocky rooster
To sound his daily alarm.
"Cock-a-doodle-doo!
Wake up sleepy farm!"
(Flap arms at sides and crow.)
All around the barnyard

Sleeping cows and horses,
Sleeping pigs and sheep.
Here comes the cocky rooster
To sound his daily alarm.
"Cock-a-doodle-doo!
Wake up sleepy farm!"

I'm a Little Cowboy
I’m a little cowboy.
Here is my hat
(point to self, then to hat)
Here are my spurs
(point to your heels)
And here are my chaps
(pat legs)
As soon as I get up,
(stretch, pretend to wake up)
I work all day
(pretend to lasso a cow)
I get on my horse
(pretend to get on a horse)
And ride away.
(Pretend to gallop on a horse)

Trot, Trot to Boston
Trot, trot to Boston
(bounce baby on knee)
Trot, trot to Lynn
Better watch out
(lower baby gently through legs on 'in')
Or you might fall in!
Trot, trot to London
Trot, trot to Dover
Better watch out
Cause you might tip over!
(tip baby slightly to side)

Ride a Cock Horse
Ride a Cock Horse
(bounce baby on knees)
To Banbury Cross
To see a fine Lady
Upon a White Horse
With rings on her fingers
(touch baby's fingers)
And bells on her toes
(touch baby's toes)
She shall have music
(bounce again)
Wherever she goes

Shoe the Little Horse
Shoe the little horse. Shoe the little mare.
(pat child's feet)
with a tap-tap here and a tap-tap there
But let the little pony run bare, bare, bare
(pat both feet together)
