Five Snowmen

Five Little Snowmen standing in a row,

They each have a hat,
(hands on head)

and a big red bow
(hands on neck)

When the sun shines
(circle arms around head)

Where will they go?
(shrug shoulders)

They melt, melt, melt, melt, melt...
(sink down to floor)

Snowman Fingerplay

One little snowman short and fat,
Wearing a scarf and a big black hat.
He has two eyes so he can see,
And also a smile, just for me.
Two sticks for arms,
And a carrot nose,
Buttons down the front,
Almost to his toes.
When the weather is cold,
He stands up tall.
But when the sun comes out,
It makes him very small.

Pack a Snowball

Pack a snowball.
Make it round.
Roll it, roll it, along the ground.
Make one big ball, and one of middle size;
Then roll a smaller ball. Add a nose and eyes.
Give him a broom and a scarf of blue.
Now there's a friend to play with you! (point)

Snowman, snowman, where did you go?
I built you yesterday out of snow.

I put on eye and nose and a hat.

Each one wearing a funny hat.
In the morning, out came the sun.
It looked down and melted one.

I am a Snowman

I am a Snowman, cold and white

I stand so still through all the night
(stand up tall)

With a carrot nose
(point to nose)

And head held high
(hold head high)

And a lump of coal to make each eye
(point to each eye)

I have a muffler made of red
(pretend to tie muffler)

And a stovepipe hat upon my head
(place hands on top of head)

The sun is coming out! Oh no!
(make circle over head with both arms)

I think it is time for me to go!
(start to sink to ground)

Yesterday, I was so plump and round
(form large circle)

Now, I'm just a river on the ground!
(sink to floor)

Building a Snowman

I will build a snowman
(pretend to make a snowman)

Make him big and tall)
(pretend to pile up snowballs)

See if you can hit him

With a big snowball.
(make and throw a snowball)

Chubby Little Snowman

A chubby little snowman,
(Hold hands out for "chubby.")

Had a carrot nose.
(Point to nose)

Along came a Bunny,
(Hop like a bunny)

And what do you suppose?
(Shrug shoulders, hold out hands- palms up)

That hungry little bunny,
(Rub stomach)

Looking for his lunch.
(Hold hand above eyes, as if searching for something)

Ate that snowman's carrot nose,
(Pretend to eat)

Nibble, nibble, crunch!!
