All Kinds of Boats

Toot, toot, toot
(pretend to pull a whistle)
Chug, chug, chug,
(swing arms back and forth)
I'm a tugboat!

Row, row, row
(pretend to row)
To and fro,
I'm a rowboat!

Swish, swish, swish,
(raise arms up in air and swing back and forth)
Blow, blow, blow,
I'm a sailboat!

My Bike

One wheel, two wheels
(make circular motion with arms)
on the ground.

My feet make the pedals
(lift feet and pretend to pedal)
go round and round.

The handlebars help me
(pretend to steer)
Steer so straight,
down the sidewalk
(hold one hand above eyes and look into the distance)
and through the gate.

Here is the Engine

Here is the engine on the track
(count off fingers one by one, begin with your thumb)

Here is the coal car, just in back

Here is the boxcar to carry the freight,

Here is the mail car- now don't be late!

Way back here at the end of the train

Rides the little caboose through the sun and the rain!

Auto, Auto

Auto, Auto, may I have a ride?
(thumb a ride)

Yes, sir. Yes, sir- step right inside
(make fist extend thumb abd talk with it)

Pour in the water
(pour water with thumb)

Turn on the gas
(switch on with thumb and index finger)

Chug-away, Chug-a-way
(pretend to steer)

But not too fast!

The Train

A little train stood on the track.

It said, Choo! Choo!

It ran right up
(creep fingers up arm to shoulder)

It ran right back.
(move fingers back down quickly)

Ten Little Firefighters

Ten little firefighters
sleeping in the row
(hold out hands, palmsup, fingers curled up)

Ding, Dong goes the bell
(hold up one hand to pull the bell)

And down the pole they go
(slide cupped hands down)

Off on the engine, oh-oh-oh
(pretend steering wheel)

Using the big hose
like so-so-so
(spray hose back and forth)

When fire's all gone, home so slow
(steer wheel slowly)

Back in bed, all in a row.
(hold out hands, palms up, fingers curled up)

Traffic Light

The red at the top

Tells us to STOP!
(Extend arn out with palm facing out.)

The green below
Tells us to GO!
(Sweep arm out as traffic cop would)

The yellow in the middle
Tells us to WAIT!
(Extend both arms out.)

Please don't worry-
You won't be late!

Choo-Choo Train

Choo-choo train, choo-choo train
(hold waist and sway)

Puffing down the track

Now we're going forward

Now we're going back

Now the bell is ringing, ding-ding
(shake one hand)

Now the whistle blows, toot-toot
(shake the other hand)

We can make a lot of noise
(sway)

Everywhere we go!

This Little Train

This Little Train ran up the track
(run your fingers up arm)

toot, toot, toot
(make train whistle sound)

And then it came toot-tooting back
(run fingers down arm)

Toot, toot, toot

Windshield Wiper

I'm a windshield wiper
(bend arm at elbow and hold fingers up)

This is how I go
(swing arm back and forth)

Back and forth, back and forth
(continue motion)

in the rain and snow.
