Looking for Colors

Red, yellow, brown, and green

Many colors can be seen.

What do you see that's...

(pick a color)

Did you ever see a Rainbow?

To tune of: Did you ever see a Lassie?

Did you ever see a Rainbow, a Rainbow, a Rainbow?
Did you ever see a Rainbow light up a gray sky?
With red, orange, and yellow
And green, blue, and purple
Did you ever see a Rainbow light up a gray sky?

Little Color Fish

Five little fishes swimming near the shore,
The red snapper took a bite and then there were four.
Four little fishes swimming in the sea,
The orange roughy swam away and then there were three.
Three little fishes in the ocean blue,
The pink salmon took a seahorse ride and then there were two.
Two little fishes, swimming in the sun,
The yellow perch swam too far and then there was one.
One little blue marlin, now you're all alone,
I'll put you in my fish bowl and take you home.

Oh, Rainbow

To tune of: Oh, Christmas Tree

Oh, rainbow, oh, rainbow,
How lovely are your colors.
Oh, rainbow, oh, rainbow
How lovely are your colors.
Purple, red and orange, too,
Yellow, green and blue so true.
Oh, rainbow, oh, rainbow,
How lovely are your colors.

Four Little Leaves

Four little leaves hanging from a tree,
Looking as lovely as can be.
Whoosh went the wind and one leaf said,
“Ill meet you on the ground. I’m the color RED.”

Three little leaves hanging from a tree,
Looking as lovely as can be.
Whoosh went the wind and another fell down.
This little leaf was the color BROWN.

Two little leaves hanging from a tree,
Looking as lovely as can be.
Whoosh went the wind. Oh my, it was cold!
Another leaf fell. It was the color GOLD.

One little leaf hanging from a tree,
Looking as lovely as can be.
Whoosh went the wind and the leaf started to sway,
But it was still GREEN, so it had to stay !

All the Leaves

All the leaves are falling down
(flutter fingers downward)

Orange, green, red, and brown.
(flutter fingers)

If you listen, you'll hear them say,
(cup hands around ears)

"Wintertime is on it's way."
(whispering)

Boot Prints

Up and down the yard we go
Making boot prints in the snow

Big steps, little steps
Around and around
Oh what fun with snow on the ground!

Black boots, white boots
Red boots bright
Isn't it strange our boot prints are white?

Five Little Dragons

Image Link

One little dragon with scales of blue;
Ran to meet the green one,
And then there were two.

Two little dragons sitting under a tree;
The red dragon joined them,
And then there were three.

Three little dragons, wishing there were more;
Along came the purple dragon,
And then there were four.

Four little dragons, happy to be alive;
Found a yellow dragon,
And then there were five.

Five little dragons all out to play;
“Watch out, they breathe fire,” is all I have to say.

Red Bike

Take me for a ride on your red bike

Take me for a ride on your red bike

Take me for a ride, take me for a ride

Take me for a ride on your red bike.

Color

Blue is the Lake,
(point to the floor)

Yellow is the sun
(point to the sky)

Silver are the stars,

When the day is done,
(wiggle fingers in the air)

Red is the apple,
(make circle with hands)

Green is the tree
(raise arms over head like branches)

Brown is a chocolate chip cookie for you and me!
(rub tummy)

Pink

My favorite color is pink, I think
(shrug shoulders)

But red is pretty too.

It's one or the other

Unless I discover
(hold out one hand then other)

I'm suddenly partial to blue!

Traffic Light

The red at the top

Tells us to STOP!
(Extend arn out with palm facing out.)

The green below
Tells us to GO!
(Sweep arm out as traffic cop would)

The yellow in the middle
Tells us to WAIT!
(Extend both arms out.)

Please don't worry-
You won't be late!

Red and yellow, orange and brown

Whirling, whirling round and round

(turn hands)

Down, down, down

(drop head into lap)
