Dance Like Snowflakes

Tune: Frere Jacques

Dance like snowflakes
Dance like snowflakes
In the air
In the air
Whirling, twirling, snowflakes
Whirling, twirling, snowflakes
Here and there
Here and there.

Blow, Wind, Blow

Blow, wind, blow
(move arms back and forth)
All through the town

Blow wind blow
(move arms around)

Up and down
(move arms up and down)

Blow, wind, blow
From the left to the right,
(move arms left to right)

Blow, wind, blow
All through the night.
(slowly lower arms)

Swaying Apple Tree

Here is the apple tree with leaves so green,
(stand up and stretch and hang arms and hands out to your sides)

Here are the apples that hang in between,
(make a small circle with your two hands)

When the wind blows,
(sway body and arms back and forth)

The apples will fall,
(crouch down on the floor)

Let's use a basket to gather them all!
(pretend to pick up apples and put them into a basket)

Boom Bang!

Boom, bang, boom, bang!
(bang on instrument)

Rumpety, lumpety, bump!
(drum)

Zoom, zam, zoom, zam!
(slide hands back and forth)

Clippety, clappety, clump!
(bang on floor)

Rustles and bustles

And swishes and zings
(hung shoulders and rock)

What wonderful noises and thunderstorm brings!

Autumn Leaves

Autumn Leaves are floating down,
(float arms and hands up and down)

They make a carpet on the ground

Then swish, the wind comes whistling by,
(move arms to the side quickly)

And sends them dancing to the sky.

Autumn

The trees are gently dropping,
Leaves onto the ground
(flutter fingers down)

The flowers are all nodding,
Down and all around
(turn around slowly)

The wind is blowing
A chilly breeze
(sway back and forth)

The birds are flying
Into the trees
(flap arms like wings)

This Little Wind Blows Rain

 This Little Wind Blows Rain
(tap fingers like 'This Little Piggy')

This little wind blows rain

This little wind drifts snow

This little wind brings the sunshine

This little wind whistles low

And this little wind

Rocks the baby birds to and fro.

When the Wind is Blowing

When the Wind is Blowing,
(sway arms back and forth over head)

And the skies are getting gray,

We have to stay indoors,

It's too cold to go out and play,
(hug body)

We gather around the kitchen,

And let the oven heat,
(pretend to turn on oven)

We stir and mix, stir and mix,
(pretend to stir)

It's time to bake a treat.
(rub tummy)
